Q: In your response to my previous question on SYZ you noted insider ownership has come down to 5% from the 11% in the October report. You gave a B for insider ownership. I am wondering what you would give it based on new %? Your qualitative rating was C+ based on high valuation (stock was at $11.31)would this rating change because of the new stock price?

BCE.PR.G is a fixed-reset preferred share. Almost all fixed reset preferred shares are reset by taking into account the 5 years Government of Canada Bond plus a fixed reset rate.
The terms of reset for BCE.PR.G are quite different and are being described by various brokers as ">80% of 5 YR Government of Canada Yield".
Can you please explain as to HOW the rate will be reset for BCE.PR.G on May 1, 2016?

And interest rates have been relatively benign. Yet CVD is down over this same period and has been dropping steadily since mid last year. All this within what should be a positive environment for this type of ETF. So why is it doing as poorly as it is. Is it the quality of the underlying assets, management, or something else. My concern is if it cannot maintain it value in a strong market and low interest rates, what happens if interest rates begin to rise. Also, if you share any of these concerns, would you consider dropping the ETF from your portfolio?

Basically you suggest to the Gentel shareholder to 'TENDER' their shares as otherwise there may be some delay.
My Question may seem silly, but how do I go about Tendering shares, when shares are held through a broker? I emailed my broker and they where not informative on how to do that.

If you wanted to do so you had to say so three days before the shareholders meeting earlier in January. Most people would obviously choose the shares with BCE hitting new highs. Is it still possible to get shares in BCE? THANKS

In most cases, if you have missed the deadline, then you will by default get the pro rata allocation that everyone else gets: i.e. some BCE shares and some cash. You do need to tender your shares, otherwise there may be some delay. You will then need to buy BCE shares with the cash received if you want to swap all of the value of GLN into BCE.

Q: Presently, I own CRH Medical (CRH), Patient Home Monitoring (PHM) and Prometic Life (PLI). CRH is going up nicely every day - is the valuation stretching?
