Q: Hi 5i!

Usually the CAD gets stronger compared to the USD when oil prices rise. This time around with oil above 100$ the CAD did not really follow suite. It does look like it has started to move up. In the short term( 3 to 5 months) Where do you see the CAD going. Any chance your amazing crystal ball see it going to 85C?

Q: In the 5i current Balanced Equity Portfolio and the Income Portfolio, cash positions are 4.28% and 2.89% respectively. Given the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, would you recommend increasing those cash positions or leaving them unchanged?

Q: ‘Nervous nellie’ here...is cash (over 100k) safe in canadian account (brokerage or bank) ? Any Real need to spread it on different instution, or buy short bond, cd etc.
