Q: The Q3 for Ainsworth is now out but I have trouble making much sense of the numbers. Is it time to bail on ANS or is it worth holding for another awhile longer? OSB does not seem to be inclined to move one way or the other.
Q: Hello Peter
Thank you for your excellent advise and recommendation on all the questions and answers. I find this very helpful in understanding the Market and my own investment. My question is on INTERTAIN GROUP LTD , is this a good company and stock to own for the short or long term. I value your opinion . Thanks, Claudio

Q: I am up over 40% with BYD.UN, thank you very much, but I don't get it. The company has negative earnings and hence no P/E ratio nor ROI. Would you please enlighten me. Thank you
Q: How much value does your team place on technical analysis. A large number of energy related stocks have violated all moving averages recently. Does that mean we should not buy them until they move back up significantly
Q: Can I get your current view of Input Capital INP?
I am underwater on this stock following the recent sell off. However, I like the business model and have been considering adding to my position understanding it is a higher risk growth stock.
Q: I have no US exposure and am thinking of buying VIG US dividend fund, as you recommended to another member. My question (and therefore a concern) is; are the dividends charged as income since the Canadian dividend tax credit is not available?
Q: Hi Peter, in the context of taxation, is the income on H&R Reit a dividend or interest? In your opinion, what percentage of a portfolio should be invested in Reits? Thanks, Gervais
Q: I have small positions in RMP, KEL and SGY. I need to increase my oil and gas exposure as it is only about 3% of my exposure. in addition to adding to RMP, KEL and SGY could you please suggest several larger cap companies I could add? Thank you for the wonderful daily education you provide - it is a tonic!
Q: Hi Peter & Team,
I am thinking to invest in VGR, but with the Canadian $ is so low, does it make sense to invest in the US stock market these days, with about 14% up-charge? (maybe by the time I'll sell it, the Canadian $ will strengthen and I will lose the exchange rate - I don't think the exchang rate will be lower)
Also, I could not find any Canadian tobacco listed in Canada.
Do you know and recommend any?
Thanks,
Q: What is your opinion on the latest news that Veresen is seeking jv with Japanese interests on the Jordan Cove project and does this add more value to the stock?
Q: Could you expand your answer to Richard in regards to gold, when you said " you consider gold important as insurance within a portfolio."
I understand the concept, what I want to know is what you are talking about, physical gold, etf's, stocks etc.
If you need this type of insurance what should you hold and why..
