Q: Even with the 125M buy back, wouldn't it be a good time to take advantage of the recent drop considering they have 986M of FCF right now? All of the metrics are cheap compared to other banks when looking on Morning Star.

Would it be a good idea to average down my cost or do you think it would drop more?

Q: As we enter the bank earnings reporting period, just wondering what signs to look for when LB announces? They had to write down already and banks in general are looking at a slowing pace of writing new mortgage business going forward.

Q: I have a question about LB.
There was an announcement on a bought deal basis an aggregate of 2,282,000 common shares of LB by a syndicate of underwriters. Can you explain what would the implications to the stock and company? Is this a good time for an entry? Thanks.

Q: Good morning. I currently only have one bank (TD) and am thinking of adding a full position of Laurtentian Bank to take advantage of the recent drop in the share price. My question is, does the lead up to a provincial election in Quebec generally have negative effect on bank share prices in general and LB in particular? In other words, should I be anticipating further downward pressure on LB leading up to the fall election?

Q: Laurentian Bank stock moved up 3% today on good volume. Is there company specific news? I thought it might be money coming back into Canadian financials following the vote of confidence from Buffett, however, the stock moved way more than other banks. Thanks!
