Q: Freehold announced they were listing another 4.65 million shares offered at 26.90 but the stock sold off prior down to 25.56 at one point-what causes that ?
Q: Hi Team. I've seen your responses to various questions regarding Prairie Sky. I'm looking at purchasing some of this, but I would be interested in knowing how would you compare it to FRU which has been around quite a bit longer, and also has a nice yield.
Q: Hello Peter & Co
I own FRU since 2009. Mason Granger of Sentry has recently mentioned that over 30% of the cash flow is likely to be taxed this year; this would increase the dividend payout ratio thus increasing the likelihood of a reduction in distribution.
Could you please verify this assertion?
Thanks
Tony
Q: I am looking at two companies with high dividends, Freehold Royalties and Enbridge Holdings. Which of these are the most secure and have a prospect of some capital gains.
Q: Does Freehold Realities (FRU) still have a payout ratio greater than 100% ? If so, do you consider this to be a signal to stay away from buying this stock. The price has been down lately and it appears to be a compelling buy.
Thank you.
Q: Peter, your opinion on Medical Facilities, and Freehold Royalty please. Looking for safety of div. and small cap.appreciation. Thank you for all your help, Ken
Q: What do you think of Freehold Royalties (FRU)? it has a very good div and has been a pretty steady performer but I don't understand the risks esp. since the div is so high. Can you help me?
Thankyou.
Q: Peter and staff
I would like your opinion on (fru)as an investment . At first glance they seem to be quite solid paying a nice dividend. Also (I think)they seem to have a relationship with with two private companies Rife resources and Canpar holdings.could you help explain the relationship?
Thanks Cal S.
Q: Hi, Peter et al: Re: Freehold Royalties Ltd. [FRU], where does one find out if there's been a downgrade? I checked the FRU 'news' at TMX, my own discount broker, Yahoo finance Canada, and Freehold's Web site and no such information appears. How does a person find out if there's been either an upgrade or a downgrade? Thank god I check your 'member questions' daily or I'd be lost. Also, when CIBC (or any other analyst up- or downgrades anybody, do they have to give a reason?
Thanks, Dale
Q: Good Morning - I noticed FRU was off about 5% yesterday. I cannot find any news that would cause this drop. Do you have any insight?
Sincere thanks for a great service.
Q: Hi Peter;
I wonder if you would be able to explain to me the royalty structure of FRU and how it works. Does FRU actually own the underlying land or do they lease it from others? What are your thoughts on this type of entity?
Many thanks.
Q: The way oil stocks have fallen it seems a likely place to look for bargains. A stock I have always been interested in is Freehold Royalties (FRU. What does your team think of the model and longterm prospects?
Another fallen darling is Keyera (KEY). What does your team think of this one?
Q: Peter, your thoughts on FRU please. Have owned it for years and have been very pleased. Some tax credits may be lost going into next year. Is the div. safe looking into the future, Thanks Ken
