Q: Reported strong 3rd q results. Yesterday's close of 35 cents is same as private placement in March 2015. The revenue growth is nice. Making a little money. It still seems cheap even at 40 cents a share. Its not a pure play software company but interesting.
Q: Your opinion of IWG Technologies please? They just released FYE2015 with record sales and profits. It’s their 13th consecutive profitable quarter. 5 year highs on the weekly chart means limited overhead resistance from past shareholders wanting to exit. Can you envision a long run way (pun intended) and can you tell me the real time position size Pender has in this company? I fully realize the risks of owning nanocaps ($13M mc). Thank you.
Q: I was thinking of buying some SIO. I noticed your last comment on this stock was May 21,15. Are you still negative in-regards to this stock. I understand they are starting to get all their ducks in line. Would appreciate your comment.
Q: It has been my understanding that the amounts go to insipra through an assignment of receivables. The details and legals I do not know, but it is a little like a factor system.
Q: Would you care to comment on the recent 2nd q results? I listened to the conference call and business appears to be growing. They expect to collect 30 million in asset sales of discontinued operations with 5 mil of that to be realized by end of fiscal year and the balance over next 2 fiscal years. If they are able to make at least 16 cents in the next fiscal year what would be an appropriate value for the shares?
Q: Hi
Is there a Canadian small cap fund your team likes?
I tried purchasing the Mawer New Canada Fund, but it's now closed and unavailable to the public.
Any favourites you can suggest?

Q: Can you please explain what is happening with slyce? It looks like it stopped trading today due to a potential takeover. What is your recommendation for those of us still hanging on?
Thanks!
I know there's fear of Alberta exposure, future car sales in Canada and loan losses continuing to increase, but is this company not starting to look incredibly cheap? I'm thinking of initiating a 3% position.
Q: Given your familiarity with Wi-lan, I am hoping you will have equal insight into Memex, Inc. (OEE.v) Although very much a micro-cap, with all that implies, what is your opinion of its potential?
Q: What is up with Dream Office? Yield in now 12.42%, it has fallen over $3 in the past month. What do other people in the market know that we don't? Is the dividend reasonably safe?
