Q: I sold my Teck, unfortunatly in an RRSP, and am watching it closely in order to buy back in if it turns. I noticed today that was a big jump of over 25 per cent in the stock price. I also noticed that a number of analysts had raised their projections on Teck and that at least some of them commented on the debt that Teck carries and said that they think it can pull it off, thus the reason for the more positive projections. Would these ananalysts alone be enough to give this kind of boost? Or, has something else changed?

Q: Any further comments on Teck after its 25% increase on Friday (on huge volume) ? While coal seems to have no future, and copper and zinc seem still to be in the doldrums, should we now treat this company as an oil play due to Fort Hills ? Do you think the share price has bottomed ?

Q: both mux.to + maq.to are mcewen mining - charts and prices are very similar - which is the better buy or does it matter?

Q: Hi Team,

Do you have a preference for GLD vs. Central Fund of Canada (CEF.A)? Does the fact the former trades in $US and the latter in $CDN affect your preference?

Q: At some point resources will recover and I am ready to slowly dip a toe into some of the more beaten up companies. I am wondering about BHP as it is a huge diversified miner, though it is not without its problems (e.g tailings pond collapse still to be dealt with). Does this seem like a good choice for a place to await a metals recovery? If the dividend gets cut, do you think it will be by more than 50%?

Q: Given the world financial situation what do you reccommend re gold holdings? I currently have your allocation of AEM as per your port weightings.

1)Should gold % holdings be increased due to what is happening re Europe/China etc?

2)If yes, would you reccommend more junior producers with leverage or stick with what we got? If yes to the junior increment what would they be?

Q: Could you please update on alexco, have moved up a lot but don't know why? Volume hasn't changed much and I don't see any news.

Q: I am sure the gold bugs at Sprott are celebrating.
This stock has gone up alot for me and my position has grown from 1% to 6%. I think the company still looks very good however and there has been no insider sells yet. Any thing you see differently. I will probablly trim some and start buying some other beaten down sectors.

Q: Gold and related stocks have had quite a run lately. Might this be seasonal or longer lasting?
I am wondering, if investment in any of the companies indicated or the ETF might be worthwhile. BTO, a stock considered solid, has not really participated as much as other stocks - any reason?

Q: The last time you commented on Kinross Gold was almost a year ago, February 17 2015. (... that I could find...) At that time, it seemed you felt investors would be better off in just about any other gold company than Kinross due to its debt and other issues. Do you still feel the same today? I'm just wondering why the stock is shooting up -- I don't see any substantive reporting -- so what am I missing? Is it a good buy? or a trap? If so, could you state your preference in the gold sector, other than AEM or Goldcorp. Thanks.
