Q: To increase the return of my financial equities I'm thinking of selling all my ZWB (BMO Covered Call Banks) and replacing it with an equal amount of TD and BNS. Is a 12 month total return of 8% reasonable? Thanks for the fantastic service. Paul

Q: Hi:
I bought HCG at around $ 52 recently, I understand that a group of people South of the border were shorting the stock, HCG fell from near $ 60 to the level where I bought it,
I am planning to hold it for at least 2 years to get the dividend
and hopefully enjoy abit of capital gain, do you think I should add more HCG at this stage ? Would it be a reasonable move?
Many thanks! have a good day

Q: Hello 5i, I have a different company I wish to ask about. It is called Zions Bancorporation, ZION on Nasdaq. It took a real beating in the bank sector collapse. I am a strong believer in tactical asset allocation and was considering this stock. I know it will be a gruelling climb back to its "former glory". It has boosted its capital, reduced its preferred shares, and now the common share holders got a boost in dividends. Is this a sign that they are on a semi-straight path upwards?

Thanks very much.

Q: Good Morning: As things change and bond yields rise and the risk on play becomes more evident the U.S. market is being called the place to go. With 25K to invest which of Bank of America or Citigroup would be the best choice; or do you have a better idea? Already have aig which has done very well. Regards Michael

Q: Hello Peter and the 5i Team:

What is your opinion on CEW Equal Weight Bank and Lifeco ETF as a diversified investment in the financial sector? It would be about 8.4% of the overall portfolio. CEW holds 10 bank and insurance company stocks.

The purchase of CEW would be funded by the sale of TD, as I realize that 8.4% is too high a weighting for this one bank stock. A commentator on BNN suggested greater diversification in this sector going forward.

As usual, thanks in advance for your timely advice and excellent service.
