BMO Equal Weight Banks Index ETF (ZEB $59.80)

Hamilton Canadian Bank Equal-Weight Index ETF (HEB $27.75)
Q: Is there any reason not to prefer HEB over ZEB? The two ETFs appear to be very similar while HEB seems to have a 0% MER and ZEB 0.25%. My online brokerage website also says HEB's yield is 3.06% while ZEB's is just 2.02%, though the reason why the yields are different is not apparent.
5i Research Answer:
Our data shows HEB expense ratio also at 0.25%. HEB has $1.12B in assets, indicated yield 3.22% today and YTD performance 6.14%. ZEB is bigger at $4.89B, yield 2.84% and YTD 6.26%. Note indicated yield can vary and we prefer to look at total returns, which are essentially the same. The two ETFs follow the same index and we are essentially indifferent between the two. ZEB does have more liquidity if that is a factor, but both are certainly liquid enough.
