Manulife Smart International Dividend ETF (IDIV.B $18.76)
Q: Hello,
For international exposure, I was thinking of buying equal amounts of Vanguard VEQT, and Bmo ZDI or should i diversify and buy equal amounts of the two plus the Manulife IDIV-B international dividend etf . These 2 or 3 three (based on your view) would be in addition to the US ETF , VUN on toronto and XIU on toronto ..Your comments would be appreciated .

5i Research Answer:
We think VEQT is fine, however it does have 44% US exposure. ZDI has none. If an investor already has US exposure and is looking for more international flavour, we would be fine with just ZDI. ZDI also has a better five-year performance record. VIU could also be suggested for non-US exposure. The Manulife fund does not have five year returns but has good three-year returns (21.6%) and we would be comfortable with it as well.
