Q: Hi Folks,
I am looking to add either CNQ or EIF to my RRSP account. May I have your opinion as to which one you would recommend today. Looking for stability and some growth.
Thanks

We like both; EIF is significantly smaller and should be considered riskier. But, CNQ is in a highly-cyclical sector. EIF is more expensive, but may have higher growth potential (leverage to single acquisitions). Both have good dividend growth records. If an investor is conservative we would side with CNQ. For growth though we would side with EIF. We also see no reason why both could not be owned. They are very different.
