Q: Good day,
1) Recommend a few US bond ETF/fund 5-7 yrs duration to invest my US cash for the next year, best return and safety.

2) Do the same for my Canadian cash, again 5-7 yr duration.

For US intermediate-term bonds, we like IEF (effective duration 7 years) or VGIT (effective duration 5 years).

For Canadian intermediate-term bonds, we like VAB ETF (effective duration 7 years).
