It is not a 'great' deal, and looks better to OVV. But, shareholders approved the deal last week and it looks to be done soon. Shareholders should certainly have been given notice to vote. As it is a cash and share deal, shareholders were at least given the opportunity to participate in future growth of the company via OVV shares.
