They are not really comparable, considering the industry differences and the fact that ISRG is 700x as large. ISRG has a very loyal customer base and a dominant globa market share. GRID does not disclose customer retention metrics,
Specific customer retention metrics, such as churn rates or net revenue retention (NRR), but the company's growth trajectory suggests strong retention among its 300+ utility customers across North America and the Caribbean. If we look only at revenue growth rates, GRID wins (17% vs 13%). GRID also has a size advantage, as it is easier for small companies to grow (i.e. with a single large contract). But GRID should be considered considerably more risky, even speculative.
