Q: I am looking for a list of dividend paying stocks that you feel will do just fine in the next 2 to 3 years and that will likely continue paying dividends. Besides continuing to pay attractive dividends it would be a bonus if the price would not take a significant hit with a correction. I have listed 2 of them to consider. Please comment on those 2 as well as some of your picks.

Keep in mind any stock, even conservative ones, still carry risks. Many dividend stocks took big hits in 2022 when interest rates spiked. EIT.UN is a closed end fund that has had good performance. Please see this comment from last week.  DIV is much smaller and carries some economic risks. But its higher yield reflects this, and for a small cap dividend stock we think it is decent. Other dividend stocks we can suggest in the 'conservative' category: ENB, H, BEPC, BAM, RY, IFC, SLF, POW
