Q: Thanks to the markets I have large gains in the above banks in registered and non registered accounts. Thinking of trimming back and diversifying in to ETFs for retirement. Any suggestions for Canadian ETFs, also thoughts on XAW. Please deduct credits as needed. Thanks Steve

5i Research Answer:

XIC can be considered for a general TSX fund. CDZ for Canadian dividends. VGG for US dividends. ZSP for general US exposure. XAW we think is a solid ETF for Canadians seeking non-Canadian exposure. Still, it is not that international, with 63% US exposure. We think VIU (non-North America) works better for diversification. 

XAW is
