We see no particular negative news on either, and both stocks are up so far in 2026. We would be fine buying AMZN at $236 and BAM at $72.50. AMZN is using AI and robotics to drive costs lower, and this should result in nicely improving margins over time. AI is also driving better customer engagement and suggestions. We think growth could accelerate from here. Amazon's 2025 holiday sales, captured in its Q4 earnings, showed strong growth with net sales reaching $187.8 billion, up 10% year-over-year. This performance beat some analyst expectations and was driven by robust e-commerce demand during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
