It is really impossible to compare an ETF with a single company. The company will have both higher potential and higher risk than a diversified fund. We would expect GSY to have a better 10 year return, but if it experienced any issues or earnings weakness it would likely underperform. We would side with HCAL without any guidance on how much risk an investor is looking for.
