In your answer to Clayton's question yesterday about features common to multi-baggers, you provided a list of stocks you think might reach multi-bagger status over the next decade - and TOI and LMN were noticeably absent.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel that not that long ago both of them would have been not just on but at or near the top on your list. If so, has your view of their prospects changed dramatically, or was their omission more an oversight?
Thanks 5i - I look forward to your thoughts.
Peter
We provided a mixed list of Canadian and US names that we feel can be compounders over the next 10 and 20 years. We think that LMN and TOI could also be on the list, but we chose companies that are currently showing good momentum and secular tailwinds. We feel the negative momentum on TOI and LMN can eventually reverse, and we continue to like their fundamentals and management teams, but we would prefer to see a floor in their share prices. Our prospects on the companies have not changed, but sometimes we prefer 'listening' to the market when it speaks, rather than us trying to 'shout' at the market that it's wrong.
