Q: Hello, I'm low on consumer staples stocks, which one of the following three would you pick and why (FYI, I am not interested in either L or ATD): MRU, NSTL (CDR) or PG(CDR)? Thanks.

We think MRU is fine, but if one is not interested in L then we would pass on MRU as it will likely act similarly. We would side with PG on valuation, size (the largest here), dividend (3.02%), dividend growth potential, business diversity, free cash flow and recovery potential.
