Q: Everyone. Since the dawn of time i have seen this or that analyst state that this or that company will double in the next one or two years. It makes me always wonder what if but i always think with facts and not with emotion. Since analysts have a vested interest. Clayton

Having a stock double in less than a year is not an easy feat and is a lower probability type of outcome. While searching for a stock that has the potential to double is fine, in most cases if a stock that has that type of potential, there is also likely to be a good deal of risk embedded in it as well. We woud tend to agree though, that investors should be wary on expectations/views of stocks 'doubling in the short-term'.
