Q: Peter; What do you make of the CVE announcement on acquiring a 8.5% stake in MEG? Is their takeover bid dead now ? Thanks.

The bid is still on, and SCR has dropped out. CVE is acquiring shares slightly cheaper than its own bid so this is just a way of getting some marginal financial impact.
