Q: What are your thoughts concerning REITs in this current market? What would you suggest as a couple attractive options?

REITs can provide stable income in uncertain markets, and lower interest rates will help the sector. If investors start to fret about recession, though, this could offset some of the lower rate impact. Right now, with the market rocking higher, the sector may not be in favour. But we think if and when the market corrects REITs may do better as a place to hide. We can suggest: CSH.UN, CAR.UN, DIR.UN, GRT.UN, BEI.UN
