Q: I currently hold stock in MEG, which I purchased for $30/share, so I've been in the red for a little while now.
With the recent announcement of the Cenovous takeover, would it be better for me to sell the shares now and take a loss, or take the shares offered in Cenovous?

5i Research Answer:
Final compensation will likely be 75% cash and 25% CVE shares. We would be very comfortable accepting CVE shares, but the final payment may include some cash depending on how shareholders tender their shares. For now we would simply hold.
