CP EPS of $1.12 missed estimates of $1.13; revenue of $3.69B missed estimates of $3.8B. EBITDA of $1.94B missed estimates of $1.96B. CP appears on track to meet its full-year outlook, despite increased economic uncertainty created by the US' fluid tariff policy. About 39% of CP volume is cross-border between the US and Canada or Mexico. Strength in grain, coal and intermodal helped mitigate weaker potash, fertilizer, forest products and automotive volume in 2Q, which likely faced tariff-related headwinds.
K EPS of 44c beat estimates of 33c; revenue of $1.73B beat estimates of $1.59B. Production was 530,077 ounces. All-in costs were $1.493/oz. Production guidance of 2M ounces was maintained. We would consider these results solid.
