We can't personally direct answers but we think ZSP is a solid diversified ETF for a new investor. It offers diversification into large cap US stocks, giving growth potential. It is not risk-free, but with regular $$ contributions should work well over time. We would stick with ETFs until more money is available to diversify into stocks. Also, many brokers allow ETFs to be purchased with no commissions.
