Q: The TSX website puts CCL.B in the consumer discretionary sector. Whereas 5iResearch puts it in the material sector. For my spreadsheet of stocks owned, which sector should I put CCL.B in & why. Thanks … Cal

There are two general sector classification methodolgies, and some companies are harder to classify. CCL.B is an industrial manufacturer utilizing raw materials, such as aluminum, but its products are primarily sold to the consumer. It is thus a bit of a hybrid.
