Should I wait for Trump to rattle the tarrif cages again to stimulate a market selloff? At what point do we consider this planned market manipulation (rhetorical question).
What price entry point would you say is a good buying opportunity?
We would still consider TVK quite attractive for long term, growth-focused buyers. It has had a very good week and is now up 30% on the year, but its quality and growth prospects remain intact. If initiating a position we would still be comfortable with a half-position first, as we highly doubt we are through this current bout of market volatility. BUT.....Trump seems to be getting a lot of pressure from advisors, and it is likely that final tariffs (whenever that might be!) could be less than current, and certainly less than feared. TVK should report near May 8 (no date set) and this could also result in short term volatility to the shares.
