Q: How does an ETF like PSA pay 4.3% yield when interest rates are so low?
5i Research Answer:
Some banks (EQ Bank, for example) still offer decent rates. But PSA and other ETFs get institutional rates which tend to be significantly higher than retail rates. But PSA yields have been coming down with other rates, and we show current indicated yield at only 3.08%, down from 12-month yield of 4.31%.
