Q: Hi, I hold both of these and while both seemed to be recovering a while back, BEPC headed back down and now BIPC is also tanking the last few days. What's your view on these two Brookfield companies? Do I sell one or both or hold and wait this out? Thanks for your help as always.

5i Research Answer:

Inflation has ticked up again, and this has increased bond yields. Both stocks are quite sensitive to rates, but neither worries us much. BIP is very cheap and we would consider both dividends to be quite secure overall. We would be comfortable holding both for income and a recovery. Lower rates (when they happen) should help. We would continue also to expect continued dividend increases over time.
