Q: Is there a particular reason why Shopify is in the balanced portfolio instead of the growth portfolio? Is it due to market cap?

Would 5i ever consider taking NVEI out and replacing it with SHOP?

SHOP was in the Growth Model for many years. A few years ago we moved it into the Balanced Model as it was one of the largest companies in Canada and starting to get more mature. It could still be in growth, and while we would never say never, we do try to limit the number of stocks that overlap into both portfolios.
