Q: Can you please comment on the latest earnings for B2 Gold? Would you be comfortable adding to a position at the current price?

5i Research Answer:

EPS of 7c slightly beat estimates; sales of $470.8M were 1% better than expected. Production guidance was affirmed. Gold revenue rose 23%. Gold production rose 17%. All-in costs were $1,214 an ounce, below the midpoint of prior guidance. Overall, considering high inflationary and other pressures in the industry, it was a pretty good quarter. The stock is cheap at 10X earnings, with $600M cash and a nice dividend. We can't comment on position sizes, but we would be comfortable buying it for gold exposure.
