Q: I'm concerned by the decline in Telus over the past few months. BCE is also in decline and Rogers is not great either. What is happening here and should I just stick with Telus or switch to something else?

We have some comments on Telus posted today. The sector has not done well in either country, but we do think investor sentiment may improve once interest rates peak. Telus has been hit with a combination of factors, and investment sentiment is about the worst we have seen in some time towards the sector. But, with a low valuation and a (secure) 6% yield, ANY good news could see a reversal, or at least a bottom.
