Thank you for considering my question
WMB pays a yield of 6.1% and KEY also pays a yield of 6.1%. Since WMB is a US stock, it will be subject to withholding taxes within a TFSA, whereas KEY, being a Canadian company, will not be. On a net basis, this would make KEY's dividend more attractive, however, WMB is roughly 7X the size of KEY. We like the fundamentals of KEY slightly better than WMB, and as a result, we would prefer KEY for income in a TFSA here.
