Q: Any thoughts on the MCan (MKP)announced takeover of Xceed Mtge? As a holder of MKP, the takeover looks not great but ok.

Q: Hi Peter and Team, for those interested in iron ore stocks there was a good blurb today on BNN with Howard Green focussing on NML, LIM, ADV, LIF, etc. If you have any further thoughts on NML or iron ore in general that would be great too. Thanks!

Q: Is there a Canadian tech ETF containing such companies as BB,DSG,
ESL,IM,MDA,MDF,SYZ, etc.? The tech sector seems to have some legs in the US, just wondering if Canada's tech sector may follow suit.

Q: I have found WIN on TSE to be very very frustrating like several 5I clients must be feeling. At these new prices and in view of the dvivvy is this a table thumping buy? I have a fairly high percentage of win shares now at a 30% down position. Is it time to get some more?

Q: Hey, Peter.

I'm thinking about starting a position in National Bank (NA). It looks like it is by far the "cheapest" of the Canadian banks. I see that it is expected to make $8.61 per share in 2014. It is unrealistic to expect it to trade at a 9.5 2014 p/e multiple giving it a rough share price of $81.80 (representing a 10%+ capital gain)?

Q: Hi peter,
I am interested in investing in infrastructure development plays. I know your research is high on STN, however I find SNC is off its highs due to their current issues. I hesitate to purchase something near highs. Where would you put fresh cash today? I also looked at foster wheehler in the US as a value purchase. Thank you.

Q: I owned some Berkshire Hathaway B shares some years ago and sold when the stock split. Made a good profit on that trade.The stock has traded in a very narrow range afterwards but seems to be on the move again. Would this be a good time to be buying?
