Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
It was my understanding that ASR was a solid company. However it has remained in a range for several years now and has not participated in the gold rally. Is the political conflict in Turkey a drag or are there other factors! Please give your assessment. Would you still prefer MND over ASR.
Your assistance is always invaluable!

Q: Hi 5i,
I have been a long term holder of ASR and it is down more than 50% since purchase. What is your outlook on ASR and do you recommend continue holding? What do you think about taking the loss and move the proceeds to CXI, as I currently do not have financial exposure.
Thanks as always,
Jerry

Q: Peter and his Wonder Team
Bullion has been moving up and most golds are following...however today ASR lost 4.5%. Why are they not following the trend? Is there any negative news or problems in Turkey, the Swiss currency, profit taking or just a strange day? Please give me your thoughts...Thank you!

Q: Hi Peter and Team
Alacer Gold has mines in Turkey. Do you think there political turmoil and currency crisis will have any long term negative impact on ASR. I do believe ASR stock has not done as well as the sector in the past 2 weeks. In general how would you rate the risks for this company? Thank you for your time and insights!

Q: Hi Peter and Team
I really liked your recent suggestion about 2 large caps and a junior in the gold sector...realizing of course that the whole sector is totally out of favor. What is your assessment of the merits between MND and ASR? What would be your preference ...which one is best to survive until gold shines again or at least returns between 1350-1400?
I thank you in advance for your time and effort!

Q: Peter and Team
With so many others I thank you for your excellent service...I continue to act as your marketing-ambassador and encourage others to subscribe to 5i.
We all know that gold is out of favor ...we all know that sectors are cyclical...If one has the courage to buy when stocks are low and out of favor good rewards can result. Of course you still need to research your choice within the sector to ensure that your stock survives until prices improve. I know Goldcorp is your large cap choice ...however if you had to chose a junior which of these ...HARMONY, WESDOME, ALACER...do you think has the least risk and will be in the best position when the price of gold improves to profitable levels?
Thanks for your insights..

Q: Peter,

I want your opinion on ASR and SGY. I own both and both have fallen more than 25% since I purchased them. Both seem good from earnings standpoint with forward PE's of less than 10. ASR is also about to pay 25C in special dividend. What would you do in this situation. Sell and take the loss or hold for positive return on investment down the road. Thanks
