Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Is there any news on this stock? It has been going down almost every day for the last one month. Is it worth holding?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and team, great job as usual. Are you contemplating a US model portfolio? If not , I have 50K US to invest for a 3-5 year period, obviously I would like to keep it in US$, hence US stocks. Risk tolerance, moderate. Could you recommend a diversified portfolio with a 5% weighting. I have absolutely no knowledge of US Stocks. Thanks for all your great advice. Ivan
Q: Your thoughts on Freeport Mc...FCX...would this be a good time to get in?
Q: Re: Brian's question today about NXPI...just got this news (seems good news) about NXP:
-Switzerland's Finanz und Wirtschaft has reported local firm AMS (OTC:AUKUF) has lost deals to supply NFC signal-boosting ICs for future iPhone and Apple Watch models. Going forward, Apple will reportedly rely exclusively on NXP (NXPI +2.2%) to supply NFC parts.
-AMS fell 21.1% in Zurich on the news. NXP is joining tech and chip peers in rallying. Various teardowns have uncovered NXP NFC controllers and AMS signal-boosting chips in the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch. NXP also supplies NFC controllers for Chinese Galaxy S6 models; Samsung NFC controllers have been found in international models.

Q: Guys: do you have an opinion on this company? Thanks Ted
Q: Do you see any obvious reasons that i should avoid buying independence realty trust? I noticed that the debt level is high. The analysts seem to love this stock.
Q: It's extremely difficult to get candid perspectives on Ultrashort ETFs. Structural issues aside, what is your view on the impact of "Seeking Alpha's" report that 30% of TBT's market cap had left as of June 5? Personally, I can't understand why they'd leave now that rates seem to be finally heading up....
Q: AMBA stock price has been climbing very rapidly. What do you think of this company for a growth holding? Also see article on www.seekingalpha.com called: Ambarella: The Company Is Wonderful But Do Not Be A Pig. And, can you recommend any other fast growth Can. or US companies for a short term growth holding, obviously to profit from capital appreciation.
Q: There seems to be a consensus that rising interest rates will benefit US banks. Does this favour the big investment banks over other commercial banks? If so, XLF might be the way to go as it is heavily weighted by the big banks. If not, what would be a good alternative US bank ETF?
Q: I know that you dont follow US stocks as diligently as you do Canadian securities. Would you feel comfortable commenting on NXPI? I have held it for some time and have done very well. It has taken quite a hit in the last few weeks. I would appreciate your comments and would you recommend holding it. Thanks
Q: Hello, I know you do not follow US stocks that closely but can you tell me what you think of Mentor Graphics corp? Thank you!
Q: Any thoughts?
Q: I recently came across this company and wanted to get your thoughts with regards to buying and holding it for 3 to 5 years. How would they compare to White Wave and Whole Foods Market.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Peter, With all the talk of cyber security, I would like to make an investment in that space. I know of no way to do that on a Canadian market, but maybe you do. Is there an ETF which covers this sector? Between the big players like Fire Eye, Palo Alto, Cisco or others, how would you play it? Or would you avoid this area all together due to valuations?
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I am not sure if you can help with this one because I know you do not cover American stocks. It is a small company and suddenly rose 17.4% yesterday. Can you see any news coming through that might explain this.If you cannot help I totally understand! Thanks as always for your great service!

Q: Hello Peter and the 5I team
I am curious about NXP, is this a good tech company to own at this time? The semiconductor buisness is extremely cyclical. I was wondering where are we in that cycle? What are some of NXP's flag ship products and who are their main competition? Would you add this company to a well diversified portfolio or is there a better company out there to buy? Should a person be concerned with the currency risk?
Thank you

Q: I presently hold Concordia, PHM, Walgreen and CVS. In an attempt to increase the health care portion of my portfolio to roughly ten percent I am contemplating purchasing UNH ( United Healthcare) Appreciating you don't really cover US Stocks would I be better off simply adding to my CVS. Is there an overlap here between CVS and UNH and possibly WBA?
Thanks
