Q: I have some Agnico Eagle shares and am thinking of either adding to it or branching out and purchasing some New Gold.
Please give your opinion on what to do and also reasons why.

We would be fine with adding a bit of diversification. Correlations will be high regardless, tied to the price of gold but NGD is large, growing well and the valuation looks fine. The balance sheet solid as well as very strong positive momentum. We like AEM a lot still, but adding another name helps sector momentum within a portfolio.
