Q: I have both VIDY and VIU. How similar are they? Should I keep both for a long term hold? If I kept only one, which should I keep.
Thank you for your excellent advice.

5i Research Answer:

VIDY is focused on ex-North Ameirca high dividend yield while VIU is just 'ex-North America'. So, similar general exposures but one is dividend focused. Performance for VIDY has been a bit better over the years but the yields are fairly similar. With such a broad global exposure, we might side with the high yield version for potentially an extra nod to quality.
