Would you consider Bitcoin a Buy/hold/sell today? A rating out of 10, with 10 being a strong buy. Long term hold
I understand everyone’s risk tolerance/position sizing varies.
Thank you
Each individual investor has their own risk tolerance levels and ability to take risks, and for Bitcoin, we think that investors should have a good understanding of what they own particularly when it comes to Bitcoin. We treat it as a 'digital commodity' that differs from traditional equities in that it does not have cash flows, and it trades more like a high-beta play on tech stocks and global liquidity, more so than just a hedge against inflation. It can deviate in price action from traditional growth stocks (sometimes for better or for worse), and this can make it both attractive and difficult to hold.
For a long-term investment, we like BTC, although, we think that investors need to have a long-term horizon in mind and be willing to accept volatility. For a near-term bounce, we might prefer CLS, PNG, GLXY, and NBIS more, as their tailwinds are stronger currently (AI data centers, defense/drones).
We would consider BTC a hold today, with the potential to be attractive if the broader markets recover and BTC can regain $100K.
