Q: I am cleaning up some long held names providing income only. D.UN has a capital loss in a RRSP which I had hoped to recoup. In the past you have recommended D.UN. Do you see any reason to keep it? I have very little real estate.
Thanks.
Thanks.
5i Research Answer:
D.UN is very cheap due to its office exposure, and also offers an attractive 5.82% yield. But the company is small and has risks. We would not consider it need-to-own, though we would be OK holding it for higher-risk, income-focused investors.
