Q: When NA took over CWB I was concerned that there may be integration issues given the size of the acquisition, the different geography, and possible corporate cultures. Similar to when Empire took on Safeway in 2013. Are we comfortable that any such issues are well behind NA by now?
Thanks as always.

5i Research Answer:

Not yet, but not because we know of problems but because the acquisition only closed in February, and this has not been enough time really to ascertain how things are going. In terms of comparison, though, CWB was tiny compared with NA, and we would not expect to see Empire/Safeway type of issues and certainly due to the small size of the deal any problems are not likely to be hugely material regardless.
