They are very different and we would prefer VIU. MGQE fees are 0.80%, VIU 0.22%. But VIU is ex-North America, so offers true global exposure. MGQE is currently 68% invested in the US, so is largely a US fund and not internationally. The Mackenzie fund is also significantly smaller and has only been around for less than a year.
