Q: What do you think of GSI's earnings? Would you add to an existing position with room to do so, sell, or simply hold?
5i Research Answer:
GSI has no analysts, so no estimates. Cash is $8.4M. Revenue fell sharply in the quarter, to $5.9M from $9.8M. Loss was $1.0M, compared with profit $1.6M. Loss per share 1c vs profit 1c. Operating cash flow was $1.9M vs $1.3M. With a tiny company of course we would like to see sales growth, but at least cash flow was positive here. It did win some contracts in March that were not reflected in these results. We would consider it a high risk HOLD today.
