Q: Do you like this company? As well i have a Itrade account with Canadian dollar and also a USA currency account.
Do you recommend to buy it in the Canadian account or USA because i understand dividend paid in USA currency

5i Research Answer:

FIH does not currently pay a dividend, but it only trades in US dollars and we think a US account is better. It is a fund that invests in Indian public and private companies. We think it is well-managed, but expenses are high and earnings have been volatile. If one wants specific India exposure, especially with some exposure to private companies, it is one of the better options in Canada. But we would not see it as a need-to-own stock and it is very specialized. Valuation is OK but the stock is down about 30% since 2017 and has not (yet) created much shareholder value.
