In Q4 earnings, HBM reported beats on both EPS and revenue. EPS came in at $0.20 beating estimates of $0.14. Revenue was $602.19M beating estimates of $552.74M and growing 87.5% year-over-year. HBM produced 45,450 tonnes of copper in Q4, an increase from 29,305 tonnes in the prior-year period. Copper production is forecast to increase by 19% year over year to 156,500 tonnes in 2024, with continued higher grades in Peru and a full year of British Columbia production. Production for gold is expected to be between 263,000 to 319,000 ounces while zince is expected to be 27,000 to 35,000 tonnes for zinc. We think this was a good quarter for HBM and production guidance was also above analysts' expectations which bodes well for the company given the high revenue and EPS growth forecasts in 2024.
