Q: As they are both Caterpillar dealers serving different geographical areas, do you ever see these companies merging into one? Would a merger not create cost savings via synergies, increased capital pool etc for expansion and growth etc ultimately benefiting the shareholders of the combined company. . We think a merger would make a lot of sense, but anti-trust regulators might have an issue with it due to the concentration of market share it would create.
