Q: Hello, I am looking at investing a small part of my portfolio into Bitcoin. I don't want to hold real bitcoin, can you suggest a couple ETF's in Canada that I could purchase?

Within Canada, the most liquid BTC ETF is the Purpose Bitcoin ETF (BTCC or BTCC.B for non-FX hedged). The ETFs have an AUM of $1.8B and an MER of 1.0%. Alternatively, for a widely known and recognized issuer, the Fidelity Advantage Bitcoin ETF (FBTC) has close to $200M in AUM, and a slightly lower MER of 0.95%. There is also the CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (BTCX.B), which has $387M in AUM and an MER of 0.8%.
Overall, the decision depends on where an investor places the most value, liquidity, credibility of issuer, or a combination of liquidity and MER.
