Q: Hi Peter,
I'm a bit confused re: the dividend for DRI Healthcare. Your profile shows a current dividend of about 9.6% (even higher for DHT.U) but other sources such as G&M and Morningstar show it at 3.49%.
Why the difference? Please clarify.
Many thanks for your excellent service.
David

5i Research Answer:
DHT pays a regular monthly distribution of 7.5c. Annualized, that is a 7.7% yield. The confusion stems from special dividends. It paid a special 53c in July and a special 16.55c in January. Some sites include these special dividends in yield, some do not. Further, some sites will take the most recent dividends over 12 months instead, which can vary because of the special distributions (which were also paid in prior years).
