We are looking at completing a CPX report in the coming months, there are currently a few reports ahead of it in the queue. The last quarter was decent and the stock is now quite cheap at a 9X forward earnings. But the entire North American utilities sector has fallen sharply over the past two weeks amid a market sell-off as well as concerns over rapidly rising bond yields. We think the sell-off in utilities is partially a bit of a 'catch up' to their premium valuations over the past year as investors sought safe, high-dividend paying stocks. Given the substantial fall in price, we would prefer to wait until utility stocks can find a floor and see some stability before buying here.
